Here's a recipe for a classic Chicken Alfredo Pasta:

Ingredients:

  • 8 oz (about 225g) fettuccine pasta
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, thinly sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg (optional)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Cook the fettuccine pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.

  2. Season the sliced chicken breasts with salt and pepper.

  3. In a large skillet, heat the butter and olive oil over medium-high heat.

  4. Add the sliced chicken to the skillet and cook until browned on both sides and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes per side. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

  5. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

  6. Pour in the heavy cream, and bring it to a simmer. Reduce the heat to low.

  7. Gradually whisk in the Parmesan cheese until it's melted and well combined.

  8. Add the mozzarella cheese and continue to stir until the sauce is smooth and creamy.

  9. If using, add nutmeg for extra flavor.

  10. Return the cooked chicken to the skillet, and add the cooked fettuccine pasta. Toss everything together until the pasta and chicken are well coated in the Alfredo sauce.

  11. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.

This Chicken Alfredo Pasta is a comforting and indulgent dish that's perfect for a special dinner. Enjoy!
